I acquired this motorcycle in late 2020 as a nearly finished project from a chap who had unfortunately been injured after falling from a roof and couldnt finish it.
This bike had been imported from the USA and now has a age related plate having manufacture date of July 1971 confirmed by the TRO3 dating service.
I finished the project with a top end rebuild and putting a new belt drive and clutch on. The top end has been rebuilt by me with new pistons and cylinders rebored +20 from memory, the cam follower's had been reground and the head had been refurbished with new guides recut seats and top quality G and S valves.
I also fitted a brand new belt drive primary drive.
The previous owner informed me he had the crank reground balanced and fitted with new polished rods, a five speed gearbox is fitted.
It has new Boyer electronic ignition.
It looks like there are many new cycle parts and the wheels have been rebuilt and frame powder coated.
It has been dry stored in a vac bag and silica gel with a controlled humidity of 40-50%
Ive only ridden 10 miles since the build was complete, it runs very nicely starts well and idles at 800rpm, The clocks look new.

Only just over £3020 of receipts are available but that is probably more than £4000+ has been spent on new parts.
This is a great buy who wants a motorcycle that has already had all the money and time spent on as restoring yourself is a very costly and time consuming operation, I am selling as I need to reduce my collection and free up space.
