Description
I am selling my father’s Aermacchi-Harley Davidson SS350.
The 1973 Aermacchi-Harley Davidson SS350 is a unique blend of Italian engineering and American muscle, born from Harley-Davidson’s partnership with Aermacchi to compete in the lightweight motorcycle market. Revered for its nimble handling and punchy single-cylinder engine, the SS350 proved its worth on the track, with Aermacchi-built Harleys dominating AMA road racing in the ’70s. Its distinctive styling and connection to both European racing heritage and American motorcycling history make it a rare and collectible ride today. Reliable, quick, and undeniably cool, a bike with both character and pedigree.
The bike starts first time on the kick, rides great, doesn’t seem to leak any oil and the electrics are all working fine. It has a new battery, and is ready to ride. The V5C is in my name.
The starter motor is not engaging, but the starter motor is functioning fine when pushing the button. I’ve been told it could be the starter motor clutch that needs adjusting.
I’ve taken this bike up and down the hill, and it is a lot of fun, and has a surprising amount of power and torque for a 70s 350cc.
Feel free to arrange to come and see it, and let me know if you have any questions. Many thanks.
