The 9-3 Aero Independence Edition was produced to commemorate 1 year of independence from General Motors. 366 of these unique limited edition numbered cars were planned for production. However, due to the demise of Saab, only 37 were ever made worldwide, with just 14 for UK market. Finished in stunning Amber Orange Metallic paint with a unique interior with orange accents, the car is based on a fully loaded, model year 2012 Aero Griffin Convertible. With special features such as a unique interior, Turbo X style boost gauge, and Hirsch dash, door handle covers and handbrake covers fitted from new. Standard specification also includes sat nav, premium sound system, heated front seats, dual electric front seats with drivers 3 position memory, auto dimming mirrors, power folding and dipping door mirrors and rain sensing wipers.
This car proudly wears number 35 etched into its rear windows, the 2nd to last RHD car ever produced. It has covered just under 80, 000 miles and has 1 previous keeper from new. Being first registered by Beechwood of Derby on the 1st August 2013, this makes it the last Independence to be registered in the UK, if not anywhere in the world. This car boasts unique features such as the fog light surround trims which from new, were fitted with half black, and half silver trim.
