A very rare Ducati MotoTrans 250 “Road”. UK registered with the V5 in my name. I believe it was imported from Spain but I have very little paperwork.
I am open to sensible offers.
Being sold as a project bike as there are a few jobs needed to complete. These include ….. Clutch basket to be replaced as two lugs snapped off during an attempt to remove it (wasn’t me!).
A new harness, or part, needed as the one with the bike is incomplete.
Amal carb needs an overhaul and the bike needs a good going over before running.
On the positive side…..
All the bits are there so it’s a case of skilled labour needed to complete.
The frame has been blasted and powder coated.
All painted parts have been professionally restored. A fantastic job but there’s a small chip on the rear mudguard.
Top end rebuild including new piston and liner.
The clocks have been expertly rebuilt.
The wheels and brakes have also been professionally refurbished and look new. New tyres and more. Thousands spent but I am not capable of finishing it off. With some attention from someone who knows what they’re doing, and a few quid on parts, this will be a fantastic, vintage bike.
All the work to date has been carried out by experienced specialists in the UK and, it shows.
