The Montesa 4Ride is an outstanding lightweight (82kg) green lane trails bike. Owned since 2017 , bought from the 1st owner with only 400 miles on the clock. Has a full service maintenance history in my own workshop. Oils and filter changed religiously every 1000 miles.
All the sensible upgrades have been made to make this an outstanding light weight trail and adventure bike.
Geared for road and trail use (geared for 70mph and sits comfortably at 50mph for any road work), 300cc S3 big bore upgrade fitted that has transformed an already torquey motor to just ideal for trail riding, all day saddle and conventional S3 gearchange lever. Slightly higher S3 bars fitted. Snorkel fitted to airbox for easy filter change / cleaning. Includes original 260cc barrel and piston should you ever need it.
I have just returned from 2 weeks in Morocco riding the trails and has been used across the Uk and Spain. Totally reliable (Honda engine) and beautifully constructed rolling chassis by Montesa. You can find plenty of reviews in the press. Contact me on the details below for more details if needed.
Fresh tyres , chain sprockets etc. Plastics not perfect but all in good order. Needs a new home. Priced to sell. Current MOT in place. Ride or van away.
