This Escort is very low ownership (3 owners including me) the owner before me had the car 39 years! Stacks of history.
The car presents itself very well in its original shade and very rare Caspian Blue paint with Grey velour trim, this is arguably one of the best colours offered on on the XR3i and has now become quite desirable.
The previous owner took the car of the road in approx 2011 due to ill health and during my four years of ownership set about returning the car back to the road as and when time allowed.
The car is M. O. T'd until Feb 26 and has had much work carried out including a full service, Cambelt and Water Pump, New Radiator, Front Pads & Discs, all brake Hoses and some Copper lines. Brand new Carrello Spot lamps which are very expensive.
Original Bronze tinted Glass, Original Wheels in fabulous order fitted with 4x Brand new matching tyres. All lamps are original Ford equipment with Ford logos. Full stainless steel exhaust and sounds absolutely superb!
The Engine is superb, no smoke on startup as common with CVH and nice a quiet. 5 speed box is positive and clutch nice and smooth. Very nippy car indeed.
Please bare in mind that this Escort is now 42 years old, she not perfect but you would have to go a long way to find better. She is a superb usable example that can hold its own at any show.
