I purchased this Guzzi 8 years ago, it required complete renovation. This was completed 4 years ago, engine, gearbox and rear drive all overhauled with many new parts. All other parts have been stripped and repainted or replaced with new parts mainly from Guzzibits, This includes complete new clutch, carburettors, switchgear, braided brake pipes (Venhill), Domino switchgear, upgraded Lucas Rita ignition and stainless steel silencers. Rewired with LED bulbs for the warning lights, sidelight and rear light. No attempt has been made to hide the mileage on this bike, the speedo said 97k miles when I purchased it , however the engine number in the log book was not the one on the bike. An engine change at some point, but like the rest of the bike not much is original other than the speedo and rev counter. I bought this as restoration project for my retirement, it is a lightweight machine by todays standards, however it is now time to hang up my goggles. This is a fine sounding bike, I have a full set of soft luggage if required. This bike is now registered as an historic vehicle. I have full list of the work carried out and the receipts.
