Description
I am selling my BMW R75/ 5 due to moving home and loss of storage space.
I bought the bike from a collector in late 2015.
The bike starts well, idles balanced and smooth. Good swift acceleration. Quiet top end, no knocks, smoke or rattles.
Decent cosmetics, aluminium rims, stainless spokes, stainless exhaust and electronic ignition (Boyer Bransden).
Original in all parts.
Bike now stands with original handlebar and no fairing, but fairing can come with the bike if desired and original chrome side covers in good nick are also present.
It doesn't require an MOT and is Road TAX exempt. But I will take it for a fresh MOT before sale.
I also have a spare part catalogue, workshop Manual and an owners manual to go with itDue to personal circumstances I haven't ridden it as much as I would have liked.
My experience of the bike is a smooth quality ride, as you would expect from a BMW of that era.
It corners like on rails, and the performance of the front drum brake is surprisingly good.
Classy looking with it's typical R75/ 5 speedometer in the front light housing
A really nice ride, ready to go
