For Sale is my delightful 1970 MGB GT in rare 'Blue Royale'. Good condition throughout and has been thoroughly enjoyable during my years of ownership. Plenty of historic documentation and I have carried out sensible works on the car such as electronic ignition & fuel pump with filter, new oil cooler, fuel tank and rewiring of ignition system. It has taken me on local B roads most weeks, and longer trips of 100+ miles without complaint. Serviced regularly and performs extremely well - HS4 carburettors rebuilt fully with new heat shield and all internals and gaskets with good quality UK or new old stock parts.
Overdrive is seamless and the gearbox and drivetrain is extremely smooth. I have converted the tachometer to electronic operation for better readability.
My car has recently been inspected by local MG specialists with remedial works completed such as replaced propshaft and coil/ leads. The underside is in good condition and does not need attention. Running 4 modern UK made Blockley tyres. Sensibly priced considering condition and works carried out - photographs of history can be provided along with a video to look around the car. Any questions please get in touch. Odometer reads 14883 miles. Long MOT history shows along with the current reading the car has 114, 883 miles. Viewings welcome RG42 or W4 area. Very well looked after mechanically, encouraging history - on purchase I located one of the early owners, meeting at the motor museum to share photos of his long ownership of the car. Regularly and sympathetically maintained in the past and loved during my ownership, and I think one of the best colours ever to be on an MGB! I have various spare parts and the original sale invoice to come with the car. Will be sad to see it go with my limited space, but deserving of an enthusiastic new owner.
