Description
The bike comes complete with V5, service log book, Owners Manual, 2 full keys plus a service key. There is also a full service manual on CD and a scart lead to connect to pc/ mobile phone. As well as just being serviced and a new tyre, there is a full 12 months MOT as of 28th March 2025, plus the items as below. It has covered 8, 590 miles
This is a rare opportunity to get one of these iconic motorcycles in fantastic condition, the Storm variety is rapidly becoming a very desirable motorcycle. I have owned the bike since October 2012 and has been looked after by me ever since. However I would not trust anyone to service their bike correctly and I don’t expect you to, for that reason the bike was professionally serviced at Just Bikes at 8, 585 miles. The bike was fitted with a car tyre on the rear that did not wear out, but that has been replaced with a brand new Bridgestone (please see photo)
Absolutely pristine paintwork throughout. The engine does NOT have the usual alloy corrosion marks on the exposed polished fins and the finish is just about perfect on the rest of the motor. The usual weak point of the chrome cam covers are in perfect condition. The underside of the seat and connectors are clean. There are photos of the various guises the bike can adopt
The Triumph Panniers are a bit below par, fully serviceable in every respect but they were bought second hand and not in the best of condition, but not bad. Clips and buckles work as they should.
The Dart fly screen is remarkably effective if you want to motor on a bit, or can be removed without trace if it’s not to your taste/ style.
The cat was removed very early on, the engine was retuned to match the short pipes and cat removal (done at 3X Triumph Motorcycles but they went to the wall in the pandemic so I couldn’t get it serviced there)
All the parts to return this bike to standard come with it, including the nuts, bolts, washers etc. The only thing that cannot be removed easily is the fender extender, it will leave 2 small holes in the front mudguard.
With the bike you will get the Standard Triumph :-
Silencers
Exhaust joint cover plates
Catalytic converter
Foot controls
Petrol cap
Riders seat
Pillion seat
Luggage rack
Washable air filter (un-used)
Rear wheel complete with cush drive and hub
Non Triumph :_
2 X spare headlights 5 3/ 4 inch
XXL Bike cover (almost new)
Car tyre (to fit above wheel)
The bad bits. There is a bit of rust on the left rear suspension shroud (see photo) and a burn mark on the nacelle, it fell onto a hot exhaust, only small but it is there, the 5p piece is for size reference.
The reason for selling is due to becoming old and decrepit, this is a big heavy bike, absolutely glorious to ride and great for a pillion, both in comfort and sheer grunt.
Sadly, I no longer have the strength in my legs to confidently keep it upright when stationary, therefore, reluctantly it has to go.
The bike is worth more than I am asking but I would like to move it on, hence the very reasonable price. Any questions or if you want photos of any specific item/ area please ask.
Thanks for looking.
