This is my Ford Focus ST-2 MOUNTUNE MR290 5 Door in Panther Black. This car has covered 95k miles and has an exceptional history file.
The provenance on this vehicle is unmatched and its history is fully documented with stamps in the service book, certificates for upgrades and receipts for every job carried out.
The meticulous documentation was the main reason I purchased this car.
This is a rare example only Ford approved upgrades for which I have all supporting receipts and Mountune certificates.
I also have all the receipts for maintenance work carried out on the car over its life which totals over £13k.
It took me many months of searching to find this example as Mountune no longer provide this upgrade for this era of Focus making it a very special and rare vehicle.
If you’re looking, you’ll know there are many examples for sale with poor history and anti-social ‘upgrades’ and add-ons. This is not one of them and the condition and history file speak volumes about the way it has been looked after.
While the upgrade was done, there was an RS clutch fitted to deal with the extra power. This upgrade package makes such a difference to how the car performs.
The interior is in fantastic condition and has the original Ford stereo and Mountune over mat in the boot.
The front seats are protected with bespoke waterproof covers which will come with the vehicle.
Alloy wheels have recently been refurbished in Ford Sparkle silver so no nasty kerb marks.
All tyres are matching Goodyear Eagle F1’s with almost full tread.
Battery was changed recently with a Yuasa.
Near side rear brake calliper has just been replaced along with new pads and discs all round and callipers have all been refurbished and painted.
The timing belt and water pump were also changed this year with invoice to prove.
I have all the owners’ manuals, service book and three keys in addition to the Mountune certificates and every invoice to back up the car’s history.
An advisory-free MOT is valid until 24 Oct 2025 and the documented service history is as follows -

The provenance and condition speaks volumes and I currently cannot find another like it for sale.
No cheap anti-social modifications, only certified Ford approved Mountune upgrades.
These enhance the driving characteristics of this gem of a motor without making it too loud and uncomfortable for daily use.
If you’re looking for one of these and find one in better condition with a more comprehensive background my advice would be buy it.
This car is now one of a kind and won’t be made again.
