Presenting for sale on behalf of my client this beautifully presented Lotus Elan Turbo.
This particular car has a very low mileage and has spent nearly all of its life in the same family.
Purchased new by Sir Holbert Waring Bart in January 1991 from The London Lotus Centre. After his death in 2021 the car passed to his daughter. The car has done virtually no mileage since 2016 due to the original owners poor health.
Recommissioning work was carried out in December 2023 by both Fernwood Motor Services and Esprit Engineering who serviced the car and gave it a cambelt change and 4 new tyres.
You will see from the photographs that the car is in beautiful condition. The roof operates as it should and showing minimal wear, as is the interior with no cracks in the plastics and the upholstery is fresh and tear free.
The silver paintwork is excellent with only the occasional stone chip on the nose of the car. There is a small 6 inch hair line scratch on the rear bumper which should just about be visible in the pictures.
I have owned a similar car and they drive superbly well with one of the most highly regarded front wheel drive chassis ever produced.
This car is no exception and everything works and performs as it should.
A beautiful low mileage, low owner car with a full service history. The car comes with all of its manuals and service folder along with invoices and a full MOT history supporting the low mileage.
