This is one of 6 Avantimes I have owned and is the best preserved and lowest mileage of all of them. It is in the glorious colour of ‘Nocturne’ - a very deep purple, with cream leather interior.
It has exceptionally low mileage of 48900 and is in superb order. Avantimes can suffer from a few typical problems but this one has very few of them. The paintwork is near flawless, with only a few minor marks on the rear bumper and a slight corrosion of the roof rails (this malady comes as standard on Avantimes, certainly all that I have owned developed it eventually). These are minor issues and can be seen in the photographs.
The interior is in similar order to the exterior. The leather has almost no signs of wear, and it the carpets are the same.
The car is the 3. 0 V6 version - I have owned the 2 litre and can confidently say this version is far better and suits the car much more, as does too the tiptronic 5 speed automatic gearbox. The engines runs perfectly, as it should at this mileage. All accessories, including the AC work as they should, only the CD changer doesn’t (again this is a near standard Avantime failure). The radio works as it should, and I will include a new replacement compatible Pioneer unit which will also work with the steering wheel controls. The car has two keys. The wheels are in excellent order too.
I am selling this car as I face the age old dilemma of it being too nice to drive, and I have another which fulfils that role. I bought it really because of the astonishing condition but in reality I really don’t need another one.
This is one of very few remaining Avantimes and is certainly one of the very best. If you want one (and really you should) you would be extremely hard pushed to find one anywhere near as nice as this one, certainly not with this mileage and fabulous colourway. Offers will be considered and viewing/ driving possible in Kings Langley Hertfordshire. One last thing, this one is ULEZ compliant. None of the others I have owned have been so this must be down to the date of registration as the engine is the same. Number plate is not included and registration number will revert to originally issued plate. Utterly wonderful, utterly bonkers and utterly lovely. Avant-time? Absolutement!
