Description
The car is a 5-seater station wagon. The engine is a 5300 cc V8 with fuel injection. The gearbox is automatic. The transmission has several options: Auto 4 WD, 2 HI, 4 HI, 4 LO. It has been fitted with an approved FlexFuel bioethanol box with an approval plate in the engine compartment and the registration has been changed from ES to FE. The front and rear ventilation systems are independent with controls from the front seats. The tailgate has a window that opens independently.
The paintwork has been customised. The wheels are 20 inches and the tyres are 275 wide. The air filter is a K&N and the exhaust silencer is a Gibson. The radio is from Alpine Electronics. Deflectors have been fitted to the 4 windows, the sunroof and the nose of the bonnet. With the car I give the complete original air filter and two American rear lights (not homologated in France as the indicators are red). The car can cover any distance by road. In February 2024 the two steering ball joints and their tie rods were changed following the discovery of significant play in the right ball joint during a technical inspection. I have a Histovec report available (dated 29/ 03/ 2025). I belong to two clubs, one for vintage vehicles and one for American vehicles. I bought this TAHOE to drive around at weekends and for club outings. Today I am selling it to buy a smaller car over thirty years old.
