The interior fully reflects its personality as a sporty, pleasure-oriented car. It was equipped throughout its production by the in-line 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1290 cc mounted longitudinally at the front. It was a twin cam engine with a light alloy cylinder head and crankcase and two overhead valves per cylinder. The gearbox was a 4-speed synchronised + reverse. As for the chassis part, the Giulietta Spider was a full-frame car with a metal body (monocoque), the weight was contained between 880 kg and 895 kg.
