Volvo V70 1998 2.5 10v 144hp Petrol Auto Full history & MOT

Volvo v70 mk1 1998 2. 5 10v 144hp Petrol Automatic 105, 000 miles, full service history, 10 months mot. 

A standard original car, no modifications. 
This is a great practical classic, runs very well and is a smooth reliable cruiser.  
Excellent mechanically, I have had a lot of work done to the car over the last 2 years (spent more than the value of the car), as I had planned to keep the car long term/ forever!, unfortunately due to a change in circumstances that’s not gone to plan.

It’s a very usable daily driver and all major serviceable items have been done, sailed through the MOT with nothing needed. Very solid/ rust free.

New disks front and rear
New shocks, springs, upper mounts 
New steering rack, engine mounts, sub frame bushes, rear inner and outer arm bushes 
All OEM parts. 
4 new tyres 3000 miles ago and new battery a year ago. 

Regularly serviced with a full history and I have all the receipts for the parts and work done. Recent services included oil, transmission fluid, fuel filter and air con- Air con works perfectly. Also replaced the catalytic converter and o2sensor (£900), MAS sensor and Idle control valve in January.

I've owned the car for 4 years, 5 previous owners, a doctor owned the car for most of its life and the it was Volvo dealer serviced until 95, 000 miles (has the stamps in the service book).

It does have a couple of cosmetic items that need doing to make this car look as well as it runs, it has some small damage to the osr wheel arch that happened before I bought the car, and has a dent to the nsf wing by the indicator: this one should press out. Ideally the alloys could do with a refurb, there is a slight scuff to rear bumper, and one of the roof bars could do with a refurb/ paint. But overall the paint is excellent and it polishes up very well.

The timing belt was replaced once previously, but that would be due to be replaced again in next 10, 000 miles or couple of years. 
Also fitted a new Witter tow bar last year, only used to tow a small trailer a couple of times and also added new crystal headlights and indicators from a 2002 C70, the only upgrade and a big improvement. 

Needs a good home to finish off and will be a great looking car. It's a really good car and I will be very sorry to see it go.
