Description
I have reluctantly decided to sell my beautiful Morris Mini Van to make way for other projects.
The delightful grey coloured right hand drive Mini Van left the Cowley production line in 1961 and is a rare flat-roof example with the opening vent. It has the desired floor mounted starter and 'wand' type gear lever.
Supplied new in January 1961 by Fairway Motors Ltd, Southampton and then sold to its first private owner Maurice Donaldson Palmer on 16th February 1961.
2593 TR has been extensively restored in recent times and boasts a detailed bay for its 850cc engine and rides on the original specification steel wheels and hubcaps.
The odometer currently reads 4600 miles and looking back at MOT history it has done since 2015 indicating that there is a fault with the odometer.
* Supplied with the original buff logbook
* A very early example from just the second year of production
* Desirable smooth roof with floor start
* Matching Mitchelin tyres
* UK home market car
* Subject to a recent restoration
* Supplied with a BMC body service part list and Mini workshop manual. I have absolutely loved owning this Mini Van and it has been a lovely addition to my collection. There is no rust whatsoever and the floors and subframes are like new. Whether you want to show it, drive it or just ( like me ) look at it then it will be a great addition to your family.
There can be little doubt that, given its rarity its value will only increase over time so it is an ideal investment opportunity.
