We are offering for sale our MG RV8 reg no. N434CDP.
First registered in October 1995 and exported to Japan. Returned to UK and registered in April 2011. We purchased in September 2020.
Chassis no. is 1742, so towards the end of production, and thus is fitted with the later type R380 gear box. Original Km speedo has never been changed, but has had a face-change that show m. p. h. Kms showing today is 26000 [ 16000 +/- miles ] .
Previous owners have fitted electro-hydraulic power steering, and adjustable shocks. A fancy Blaupunkt bluetooth entertainment unit is fitted, together with a 200w ‘Boss’ power amp in the boot. I have replaced the cat converter exhaust sections with straight through pipes.
There are plenty of receipts and documentation, including some from Japan. I changed all filters and all fluids soon after purchase. Air con is also still in situ, but I have made a modified footwell cover that greatly increases space and comfort for the passenger. A new hood was fitted in Feb 2014.
We have two keys. The car is a good example, with a tidy history, and is ready to go and be enjoyed this summer.
