1957 Volkswagen Bug Sri Lankan import RHD fully registered for the road. built by HR Autoworks.
August 57 the crossover month from oval to smaller big window, car has no semaphore’s as it’s more or less US spec being a Sri Lanka spec car.

Adjustable front beam
8 inch narrow beam
2. 5 inch drop spindles
4 inch notch and extended plates
Framehead piecut
1 inch gearbox and engine raise
Flat pans
1 Inch adaptors all round
1 inch spacers in the rear
4. 5 front and 5. 5 rear Fuchs
Early 60s gearbox and engine both 1200
All new wiring loom
New starter just fitted
New 31 pic solex carb
Car has literally been rebuilt but left with its original patina styling. Runs and drives with no faults been up and down the country in it. Great car for someone to just use as is or to progress further with.
