Ford escort Mk1 1972 with a twist
This one previous owner car has been fully restored but and bolt, and now runs a chevrolet v8 engine, with a bmw 6 speed manual gearbox, short baby atlas rear axle and limited slip quief differential. Sat on 10j wide wheels, Toyo R888 sticky tyres. If it's not been replaced with new parts it's been refurbished, or re chromed. The body is steel arched, Rsr front and rear spoilers, original 1970 v8 savage bonnet, carbon fibre roof skin, carbon fibre dash top, door cards and steering cowling. All new rubber window seals and door seals, plastic side windows, new front windscreen. All the panels were purchased from a well known reputable company, full floors, inner & outer sills, turreted, rear axle is 6 linked, coil over suspension fully adjustable, with front bilstines. The interior is fairly basic, well carpeted, full welded roll cage, focus Rs Recaro seats and bases. Rs2000 steering wheel, newer digital dash. It's been kept fairly orginal on the inside. I will aim to get some better photos, but i'm really looking for the right buyer who appreciates the workman ship. I've only covered 200 miles in the last 7/ 8 years, and it really needs some love and use. Great Reg 5056 DG
