Description
A 1964 James Sport Captain with 199cc AMC engine, frame No GL20S1532 Engine No V20TS9106 acquired by the vendor from a retired precision engineer who had completed the frame and engine work but not the electrics. Subsequently professionally rewired to 12V electrics at a cost of over £600. Engine starts easily and runs through all 4 gears. Some usual transmission oil leaks.
Comes with a number of spares left over from the restoration as per photographs including a crankcase S/ No 20T1519 plus various instruction books.
Has been Sorn’d the last two years as age/ arthritis prevents me riding hence the reason for selling.
