Description
This is Rae. She's a 1972 VW 1300 Beetle. The car has been very well looked after over the past 50 years, with a folder full of past service history, going back to the purchase years.
Although not currently MOT'd she will be for the new owner.
The car comes with the original VW purchase invoice and owners manual.
The log book states three previous keepers before us and all have looked after her extremely well. She comes with a Beetle roof rack and sun visor, both are easily attached. The original radio in the car is there for show but there is a stereo in the glovebox.
We had a 12V cigarette lighter fitted so that we can charge phones etc. She has also had a classic style steering wheel fitted, which just feels more in keeping, but we do still have the original to go with the car.
Inside, she is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and just lovely for an old girl. Engine wise, she starts on the button and purrs along as only an air cooled VW Beetle can.
She gets looks everywhere you go and people notice her ahead of anything else on the road. But sadly, it's time for her to go to another loving home to be looked after. She has always been garaged in the time we have been her guardian and never left out in the elements.
