Description
Trixie is a 1966 triumph herald that was bought in Jersey and in 1970 moved to the Isle of Wight hence the J registration . I bought her in 2020 as a restoration project and stripped her back to bare metal and removed all the interior she was not in great shape . I sent her to RDS classic and heritage car restoration in Kent to be repainted and all the seats and interior were replaced and in the dark blue . The quality of the paint work is excellent and a real depth of colour . The engine is original she has had new breaks and some front suspension work done too . Trixie is a real head turner and a beautiful example of this iconic vehicle . I fell in love with Trixie at first sight and thought the colour ( although Matt at the time) was stunning . She was bought in Jersey by an army officer and he then transferred to the Isle of Wight taking Trixie with him which is why the registration is a J . The man I bought her from had bought her because he trained as a mechanic at the triumph factory . I have the original factory manual and brochures of the time and the British motor industry heritage trust certificate for her
