1993 Land Rover Range Rover Classic

Range Rover Classic 4. 2 LSE. Finished in Plymouth Blue with silver coachline, original refurbished dark saddle brown leather seats, with new leatherette vinyl headlining on a new headboard.
The chassis was blasted (no welding required) primed and painted with black bridge paint.
This was then built up with to a rolling chassis with new parts where necessary - all wheel brake systems with new pipes, shock absorbers, air bags, blue polybushes, fuel pump and pipes. Any original parts re-used have been bare-metalled, primed and painted.
The engine has been stripped for inspection with oil pump internals, crank and big end shells being replaced. Valves re-ground and heads skimmed. The engine bay has been carefully detailed with all ali parts polished.
The body was stripped, the inner shell blasted and sent to Retro Classics for all panel work including;-
Front quarter panels
Front footwell corners
Front vertical end panels
Inner and outer wheel arches
Load area floor panel
Front bulkhead and tailgate repaired with new metal
The returned shell has been coated with 6 litres of primer, colour and lacquer. then the floor and tunnel covered with sound deadening insulation.
The outer wing panels and doors were soda blasted, then all assembled with the rolling chassis/ body shell and sent to Kingswell Coachworks for final body finish and painting, including colour matching the refurbished wheels, and silver coachlines. New door/ wing protector mouldings fitted. The inner chassis, sills, and door panels wax-oiled. The last project, the air conditioning has all seals replaced with new condenser and compressor.
The original leather seats have been refurbished, the original carpets cleaned re-used along with the good condition inner door panels. Please note the heated seats are not working.
This LSE sits on new Hankook Dynapro ATM tyres.
See last photos for rebuild progress. First registered 1993, this was purchased 1997 by the current owner and used till 2012, when put on SORN at 210512 miles due to MOT and other failures. It was decided to strip down to the chassis and restore, which commenced late 2018 intermittent with other projects.
Standard equipment includes low/ high 4 speed automatic gearbox, air suspension, air conditioning, electric sunroof with blind, new heated rear screen, electric seats with 2 position driver's seat memory. Two sets of keys.
Paperwork includes - V5C, part stamped early service book, owner's manual, 1997 purchase invoice, tax discs from 1997 to 2012, MOT certificates from 1996 to 2012 (minus 06/ 07, 07/ 08. Also included a well-used Land Rover Workshop Manual and Parts Book. Along with early service book records there are 2 invoice files. Firstly, 1997 to 2012 for work done and secondly a full set of invoices for the restoration totalling £45000. This is mainly for parts except for panel work and painting.
Now being sold as "new exterior with original interior", and kept as standard except for the stainless exhaust and leatherette headlining.
The last MOT dated 8th May 2024 at 210534 miles resulted in a first time pass with no advisories, and happy to renew on sale.
