2001 Volkswagen Transporter T4

ACV engine code 2. 5 turbo diesel. A very rare vehicle. An unfinished project available at a greatly reduced price. This vehicle has had £10, 000 spent on parts over the past few years. Mechanically fully rebuilt using genuine VW parts, new clutch and flywheel, all oils, filters and fluids, brake discs and pads, rear brake callipers, rebuilt injection pump, timing belts water pump and much more. All the removable chassis parts including the rear suspension arms, brake back plates and the rear differential mounting plates were powder coated in gloss black. All parts invoices are available as proof.
The usual front wings will need replacing and the front wheel arches/ lower outer sill panels too. (available at low prices from many suppliers). Full chassis is in a great condition and fully treated and protected.
This T4 is currently running 2WD as the rear differential requires attention.
The original front doors come with the vehicle.(these were damaged and replaced with genuine VW front doors in silver colour).
It has brand new wheels and tyres fitted.
This vehicle will require a body shop for a paint job only, once the wings and outer sills are replaced.
It comes with an empty chassis at the rear behind the crew cab so any body of your choice can be fitted.
The sale comes with a set of VW wheels that were fitted to it before it arrived in Jersey from the UK.
I believe the T4 crew cab had its first life in the UK working for a brewery for a few years.
The seats are original VW and are reasonable in condition.
Many photos are available as proof of the rebuild.
The dash board has a few screw holes where a business radio with mike was once fitted.
Floor rubber liners are original and in great condition.
Door cards at the front are in good condition but have window switch holes.
The crew cab rear door cards are made of coated hard board but the O/ S/ R has some damage, like something had pushed through it in its previous life.
All the glasses are in great condition including the windscreen.
All the door locks work fine, no central locking fitted from the factory.
If you restore vehicles this would be a quick to finish job for you, it should also make you money as it’s now being sold cheaper due to not being finished with a paint job.
