Description
1959 JAGUAR XK150 FIXED HEAD COUPE - YOC 670
Finished in Ecurie Ecosse blue with red leather trim, this XK150 has been lovingly restored by a life-long Jaguar enthusiast and specialist. It was delivered to dealer P. J. Evans in Birmingham in April of 1959 (and has a dealer sticker in the back window!). Chassis number is S824799DN. Mileage on the clock 86, 935. [May be open to an interesting part-exchange, please contact to discuss].
The XK has been upgraded to “S” specification triple carburettor engine 3400cc, electronic ignition, dual fuel pumps, high geared pre-selector starter motor, main feed fusible links, five speed gearbox, power steering and uprated front brakes, making this car, on new Blockley tyres, ideal as a long distance tourer. An additional header tank has been fitted to aid cooling, with electric fans. It retains its original registration number and plate, with "ACE" decal on rear plate. In the course of the full restoration attention to detail included: body and chassis were separated, original small steel bolts replaced with stainless steel ones, etc..
Further details:
