A very rare low mileage , fantastic example of the early R170 SLK. The original owner was on a 2 year waiting list in 1996 with Taggars of Watford and the car was delivered 2nd March 1998. He owned this car for 26 years !
Smooth automatic transmission , works perfectly as it should. Drives nice and tight as if it was new. This SLK is finished in brilliant silver, traditional Mercedes colour, with the stunning scarlet leather upholstery. The recorded mileage is 31, 580.
The car has always been garaged and only used for summertime leisure motoring , protecting from the elements and any corrosion. All four diamond cut wheels are perfect with quality matching Firestone Roadhawk tyres all round, Fronts 205/ 55R16 and 225/ 50R16 on the Rear .

The original radio cassette has been recently upgraded to a more fitting DAB , Bluetooth example. It now looks and sounds wonderful and the added Bluetooth telephone option is amazing. I purchased this beautiful car just before Christmas, from a lovely gentleman who had the pleasure of owning this car from new. At the time of purchase I was suffering a recent back injury but knew this was a rare find and had to have it. Unfortunately since then I’m now recovering from a fracture and newly diagnosed osteoporosis, as such driving a low car like the SLK is challenging to say the least!
It’s only right someone else enjoys this rare beautifully looked after SLK and also makes the most of the change in the weather and perfect time to be driving one of these. It has always been garaged and only used for summertime leisurely motoring by the previous owner. This is a unique opportunity to own a fabulous example of these early SLK’s.

The car is in its original condition but there are some minor bumper scratches and one above the off side front wing.
