Beautiful Opalescent Silver Grey Series 1 E type with Black leather interior and Mohair Hood.
Delivered new in the UK in May 1966 and stored since the mid 1970's.
Stored for over 40 years with 47, 000 miles and recommissioned in 2023/ 2024 with a few modern upgrades and no expense spared.
The body is excellent with no rust.
The interior and hood are also as new.
The engine is the original matching numbers block and was rebuilt 500 miles ago.
The specification includes full Jenvey Heritage Throttle Bodies with an Emerald ECU, balanced bottom end with lightened flywheel, long tube extractor manifold and sports exhaust.
So it goes and sounds superbly with 6 individual trumpets and the proper ITG filter.
The matching nos gearbox was rebuilt at the same time along with the diff witch is a 3. 07 unit.
All the suspension components and the IRS are also rebuilt.
The brakes are ungraded Dunlop calipers and vented discs specifically for the Series One and are excellent. The rest of the system is new.
The cooling system is also new with a large capacity radiator from Radtek with the appropriate electric fan and thermostat.
Aldridge refitted the hood and refurbished the frame last year.
The car has the excellent EZ power steering with assist at parking speeds.
JDO refurbished the gauges. The feuel tank and HP pup are of course new too.
Upgraded starter, alternator and the wiring loom is also new. In fact everything required has been replaced.
The car runs on Michelin XWX tyres and Phil Halliwell center-laced silver wire wheels.
She was recently dialed in on the dyno at Emerald and had a 4 wheel alignment.
