Beautiful Volvo 145 for sale. If you want to turn heads, but without buying a D-type, this is the car for you.
7 previous owner over its 55-year life, we bought it for a cross-the-world car rally but sadly ran out of time to get it ready for such an adventure.
External bodywork is in good condition, recently repainted in its original eye-catching yellow.
The engine runs well, started first time after 9 months in winter hibernation. We replaced spark plugs, HT leads, condenser, points, battery and engine oil very recently.
Gearbox is the original 3-speed and works well.
This car is a project - a doer-upper. The interior is extremely authentic but needs some TLC, namely some upholstery work on the driver's seat and 3/ 4 of the window winders. The radio is non-functional, as is the original sunroof which ideally should be replaced. Other bits and bobs to do here and there.
Its last MOT was in 2015. We bought it from a garage who were doing it up.
