Up for sale now is my 1983 Z1000R2.
It's a UK bike from new.
23200 miles.
I've just completed a nut and bolt restoration and it's as close to original as possible.
Kerker exhaust which has been Ceracoated.
Frame and all parts painted not powder coated.
New brake caliper pistons and seals.
New fork stanchions and seals.
New carb kits and fuel tap.
The engine is very good so all that was done was to check valve clearances and timing, take off the sump and clean out.
I like to restore and only renew when necessary, so the tyres are old but in perfect condition, the screen is the original and it has a few scratches and a couple of cracks around a bolt hole.
Brake discs are original as well.
Still running 630 chain and sprockets.
I have covered 180 miles since the restoration and all the small shakedown items have been sorted out.

Obviously I'm in the UK The bike was bought by me 3 years ago as a stalled restoration with many new parts included in the deal.
It had been dry stored so there was no corrosion on any of the usual surfaces.
It hadn't been on the road since 2013.
