Here's an official press release...
introduced the 2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary Edition, which had a unique paint job and exclusive extras.
Triumph produced 650 50th Anniversary Edition units, which echoed the displacement of the 1959 model year. 120 units were released in the UK.
Every single unit came with a unique two-tone Meriden Blue with Exotic Orange colour combination and hand-painted gold pinstripes. In addition, each one was individually numbered and identified with a brass plate mounted on the handlebar clamp. Also, a certificate of authenticity signed by John Bloor was offered with each model.
Along with the unique colour scheme, the motorcycle was complemented by chromed elements, such as the headlight housing, cylinder heads, cooling fins, engine covers, mufflers, and rear suspension springs.
It packed the same standard features as the modern base model, such as a round headlight, a one-piece, two-up seat, a dual exhaust system with a silencer on each side, a side stand, and wire-spoke wheels.
Regarding performance, the 2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary Edition was powered by an 865cc four-stroke parallel twin-cylinder air-cooled engine with a fuel injection system in charge, boasting 66 hp at 7, 200 rpm and 71 Nm (52 lb-ft) torque at 6, 000 rpm. UNIQUE OPPERTUNITY , THEY DONT COME UP VERY OFTEN !
