Description
Motorbike bought in the UK from a private individual (I lived in London for 25 years) in 2001 with a blocked engine. The documents (registration document) are English (V5). 8 owners before me. The bike has been completely dismantled, restored and returned to its original condition. All restoration invoices are available. It took several years to find the parts. Serial numbers match.
The chassis has been bead blasted and repainted.
a) All the following parts have been replaced by new ones: + front and rear mudguards, side and headlight covers + frame and wheel bearings + Michelin enduro tyres + stainless steel spokes + chain ring sprocket + odometer + rear lights + fork gaiters + seat cover + Magura grips + all BTR bolts and screws replaced by stainless steel ones b) The chrome has been redone on :
+ front and rear brake mechanisms + throttle grip + speedo cable guide + selector and kick start + rims re-anodised c) Engine :
+ single cylinder 2 stroke 488 CC + 6 speed manual + the engine was completely dismantled and reassembled by the garage OX MOTO in La Roche sur Yon + crankshaft dismantled and rectified + cylinders piston rings replaced by new ones + new clutch housing (HVA Factory UK) + all bearings and seals replaced by new ones + new electronic ignition + new clutch discs and cable + the carburettor dismantled, disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, new gaskets and jets + cylinder, cylinder head, crankcases, exhaust, bead blasted and painted with special Restom paint + original handlebars repainted with Epoxy paint. I bought this bike because it was only produced for one year and it is the last air-cooled model from HVA. It's a very powerful bike with only 10 kilometres on the clock. It needs to be broken in. It's a bike for connoisseurs of the brand.
