Description
MOT until Dec. 2024.
Cat N after attempted theft - the car wasn't driven away but the driver door window frame was bent back and ignition forced. Both repaired now. One outstanding repair is a broken glovebox latch.
Good tyres, mechanically sound, no advisories on MOT except fog light not working. Full electrics and power steering.
Turbo & 4x4. I've driven the car almost always in two wheel drive mode. I have had a turbo 'boost' light wired into the instrument cluster - a green light akin to that of the Daihatsu Charade GTti indicating a boost pressure and a Japanese 80s style chime bell to replace the beeper for lights-on key-in warning.
The car is undersealed. It has needed welding up at the front behind the grill and in the rear right arch with a recent arch bodywork repair and repaint.
Clutch cable might need replacing at some point as it occasionally squeaks then stops again for a while.
Interior in excellent condition (bar glovebox door for now) and all electrics working.
Oil changed and Wynns flush used at between 3 and 4k miles during the 25k I covered with the car. (3k is the recommended interval). This is one of a small batch of Avanzatos, around 100, that were brought to the UK. This one was made for the Japanese market hence the different front grille, but was part of a batch of an additional 20 shipped new to the UK. Insurers do not consider it an import as such for that reason so it does not affect your premium.
The car is a head-turner and you'll know every petrol head in your town in no time!
