Description
Wolseley 10 in lovely condition inside and out, I have owned the car for just over a year now. The interior upholstery has been finished in a lovely burgundy red and the headlining and sunroof lining are in very good condition. The engine runs smoothly and has good oil pressure. Wherever I take it this car garners lots of attention and favourable comments. I also have the original sales brochure from 1939 and owners manual. I will be sad to see this go but unfortunately space is needed in my garage for work reasons. The car has a lot of history of work done, the engine was rebuilt in 2010, including new bearings and reground crankshaft, for convenience the engine has a standard spin off oil filter and electronic ignition, and a new electric fuel pump fitted. Since I have owned it I have had all the Lumax dampers professionally restored by Vintage and Classic Shock Absorbers in South London. I have completed a full refurbishment of the front axle, including new king pins, track rod ends, wheel bearings please see pictures. New front brake hoses fitted along with new seals for all the wheel cylinders, master cylinder has also been fitted with a new seal kit. I have also renewed the water pump and all new hoses including a new thermostat housing.
There is a small oil leak from the rear engine seal but nothing major for a car of this age. All oils have been renewed since I have had this car.
