Description
We are selling a DKW 3=6 Monza from 1957. The DKW Monza secured five world records on the Italian race track in Monza in 1956, the year of its release, which also gave it its name. After just 80 examples, which were produced by various coachbuilders, it was already finished in 1958. This DKW sports car is one of 21 examples that were produced by Massholder in Heidelberg. The Monza is rounded off by a moving and almost unique history. The vehicle was acquired in the early 1960s and has been in one family ever since. The car was handed over from father to son, who drove the Monza reliably on numerous rallies for many decades before the car was given a complete racing trim in the early 2000s. FIA races, Rally Monte Carlo Historique, Silvretta Classic etc. have already been contested with the vehicle. Countless spare parts were purchased for this purpose, which are part of the offer and facilitate further use. In its current condition, the reconditioned and performance-enhanced F102 engine has been removed. The matching numbers engine to the body is also present. This means that there is still some work to be done on the car to get it back on the road or race track. Ready-to-drive vehicles are traded in the 6-digit range. With this DKW, you have sufficient scope to realise your own ideas and build your dream car. The basis is very good, as are all the components and the extensive stock of spare parts, which are part of the offer. We are handing over the DKW with German papers, a large spare parts package, a second set of rims and extensive photo documentation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone. If you are interested, we will send you further photos.
