This car is an incomplete project and will require a small amount of work. There is no paperwork or registration documentation.

The engine - Austin 7, three bearing fitted with a Supaloy alloy head and an alloy deep sump. It has a 1-1/ 4” SU carburettor and a four branch exhaust system. The engine also has a belt driven water pump.
The gear box - Austin 7, four speed with a remote gear change.
The wheels - The car comes with five original pattern Speedex alloy wheels all with new tyres. The wheels are powder coated silver and are very rare and difficult to find today.
The chassis - 1935 Austin 7, with modified front suspension fitted with telescopic shocks. Modified rear suspension also fitted with telescopic shocks. Rear axel is Austin 7 with brakes all round.
The body - Original tube framework with all new alloy panels. The car is fitted with a header tank and original radiator, nose cone and wood trim steering wheel. Built between 1958-1962 in Luton by a company set up by Jem Marsh. The first advert was in the 750 motor club bulletin in 1958. Speedex cars have a long history of competition in both racing and hill climbing.
