Description
1964 FIAT Nuova 500D, chassis number 110D660355. Being a D it has the very desirable suicide doors and has been converted to the long roof which rolls back, including the rear window, to give full open air driving. The car was first registered on the 4th April 1964. The paint is Verdi Oasi which was a one year only colour used from July 1963-July 1964 and so is period correct. The car was restored by Carrozzeria Alfredi in Rome in 2008 and stands up well to this day. Although paperwork very rarely stays with cars in Italy I have the invoice for this work, I also have the original Carta di Circolazione per Autovettura (Italian Logbook) along with a certificate from FIAT Classiche confirming the car’s original production date. After restoration the car was kept in a collection in Rome. The restoration work was carried out at 92, 695km and the car has now covered 93, 206 or 58, 253 miles, but I might still add a few. The car was imported in June 2015 and I am the only owner since, I got around to registering the car in June 2021 after I sold my other 500 and, as can be seen by the mileage, it has only been used on high days and holidays. The car retains its original 499cc engine and non-synchromesh gearbox and is LHD for the full authentic driving experience. The car has a jack, a full tool kit and a spare wheel. I am in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Thanks for looking.
