Capots Vintage, a specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, is offering for sale a 2013 Morgan Roadster V6 3. 7L Tourer: We are offering this rare Morgan Roadster V6 3. 7L Tourer, a four-seater model. Produced between 2013 and 2016, this model is particularly exclusive, with only 31 examples produced in total, around ten of which were sold in France. Under the bonnet is a 286bhp Ford Cyclone V6, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Launched on 17 December 2013, this Morgan is finished in an elegant Sport Grey colour, with a burgundy leather interior. It is fitted with a matching mohair soft top and tonneau cover, as well as the four body-coloured side screens that are specific to the Tourer model. With just 22, 400 km on the clock, it is in very good overall condition, a testament to the care taken by its owner. This Tourer benefits from a number of technical improvements, including power steering for enhanced comfort, an aluminium radiator, a big brake kit with ventilated discs and 4-piston callipers, and a sports silencer for a more expressive sound.
In terms of equipment, it benefits from a number of chrome finishes, including five 16″-spoke wheels with central nipples, front and rear bumpers, a front grille with honeycomb grille, a badge holder bar and round door mirrors. It also features long-spans, a black leather bonnet strap, white front turn indicators and protective strips on the running boards. Inside, there are a number of stainless-steel components, such as the door hinges, cross-member covers and indicator and wiper switches. There's also a radio system with side-mounted speakers and air conditioning. To complete the interior, the owner had a dashboard made in elm wood to match the three-spoke Moto-Lita steering wheel and the centre column pocket, made by a master Italian cabinetmaker. He also added two driver-facing gauges: an elegant SMITHS thermometer and an aviation chronometer that doubles as a clock. Finally, there are storage compartments under the seats for additional storage space, while the original folding rear seats provide appreciable practicality.
