Interior - Original interior presents in great condition with limited wear and tear. All gauges, lights and electrics work as they should and the car has working overdrive in gears 3 and 4. It is important to mention that the Webasto sunroof is watertight and operates perfectly too.
History - Car has an extensive history folder of all the works carried out, with MOT papers dating back to the mid 1990’s. The car benefited from a professional full restoration in the 1990’s, which included the following:
- Repaint to its original colour of Teal Blue
- New front wings and sills
- Recent replacement Gold seal engine fitted
- New alternator
- Static belts fitted
- New front and rear springs
- New bottom cross member
- New steering rack
- New rear axle
- New Gearbox
- Full underseal and no corrosion
- New complete stainless steel exhaust system
The car was then sold on by renowned MG experts Former Glory and only 20, 000 miles have been covered since, which ensures this MGB is in perfect running order! In fact, it’s as good as any MGB I have driven and I have been fortunate to have owned a few MGB’s. There are no battery drains and the engine idles perfectly.
- Exterior - The teal blue paintwork presents in striking condition with a few areas of bubbling shown in the photos. Beyond this, the car is structurally solid and rust free. Great floors and boot which are a testament to the car’s structural condition.
