A very up-to-date sports car suitable for those who want to approach the Ferrari world for the first time today. It is in fact a very manageable car, one of the least demanding reds to drive and maintain given its low running costs, perfect for learning how a mid-rear-engined berlinetta performs. The 208 Turbo was the first Ferrari road car to feature turbocharging.
It differed from the 308 in its engine, the V8 from the Dino 208 GT4 deales, making it the smallest V8 ever built in series production with 1991 cm3, and in certain styling details: A more pronounced front spoiler, five unprecedented additional louvres under the front grille, an additional horizontal air intake in the centre of the front bonnet (satin black, a shade also used for the two air intakes above the headlamp caps), one Naca air intake per side, at the base of the rear mudguards, used to cool the brakes and tyres, a black spoiler on top of the rear roll-bar, the dedicated name and, under the bonnet, the conspicuous turbine airbox between the cylinder banks painted red, with the capital lettering 'TURBO'.

An iconic car that, more than 40 years later, is still shockingly pure, as well as beautiful from every point of view. It demands passion and gives emotions not on the level of performance, but of the 5 senses: the proportions of the Pininfarina design are perfect, the interior and minimal instrumentation among the most beautiful ever. A very special and very significant Ferrari, the child of very difficult years, born to combat a period of crisis. Inside you breathe in the scent of leather and Maranello air. With reduced power, one concentrates on other aspects of driving: Despite the super reclined position that today has preserved perhaps only Lamborghini and the distance from the gearbox and steering wheel, there is a feeling of total control and a 'direct' driving experience.
