Rover 220 Coupe Tomcat, low miles, superb condition
This is a decent, honest, unmodified 'Tomcat' in Tahiti Blue with the Silverstone half leather trim with having had a full service and full check over. Tyres are new and the car is responsive and tight and doesn’t feel like a 30 year old car.
Fully documented file of paperwork from new. It also has the original Rover handbook and service book, radio code and card.
The interior is excellent with clean upholstery and seats, which have been treated and conditioned and limited to a minimum area of wear on the driver’s bolster.
The dash is unmodified: original working tape player & radio, Rover dash ‘mat’. The T Bar roof panels seal well with original storage bag.
The metallic blue paintwork has a very deep shine. I have had it professionally detailed and the bonnet resprayed to bring back the depth of the colour to match rest of the car.
Wheels have been fully restored & recommissioned (acid dipped and power coated).
The windscreen is brand new as there was a crack at the bottom which whilst not required was an advisory on the MOT. The 220 gets lots of attention when I take it to shows because of it’s rarity. When was the last time you saw one?! There’s only around 300 left in existence with only 50 on the road.
