Purchased as a 65th birthday present (to myself), and only for sale due to an ankle injury making riding difficult - hence the very low mileage of only 1050.
Purchased from local main dealer. Run-in patiently and with meticulous care. Ridden carefully at all times. Never been out in the rain. As well as the unique colour scheme, the SE specification includes top-of-the-line Ohlins suspension and uprated front forks which give an excellent supple ride and well-controlled handling.
BIKE magazine whilst road testing the SE described: "first rate handling"..."the suspension is supple and the ride is weighty and reassuring"..."this engine is so sweet, it overflows with old-school whooshing four-cylinder drive. I've been riding for over fifty years, and I completely agree. Should you feel inclined to unleash the full 110bhp, the performance is pure dynamite, and the handling and braking are up to the job easily inspiring confidence.
It draws admiring looks and comments wherever you go and has the style and aura of a classic bike whilst being extremely easy to live with. Starts first touch of the button, everything works just as it should of course.
It is a substantial bike that has that ‘cut from solid’ feeling, yet it is very well-balanced and light to steer…making it a joy to ride slowly or quickly, in traffic or on the open road.
