It looks fantastic on the larger, more desirable, 15 inch BMW 'basket weave' alloys with all centre caps present and has much interest when out on the road.
It also has a lovely period-correct Blaupunkt cassette radio.
M40B16 engine rated at 100hp which starts readily on the key and runs cleanly with no smoke. Drives really nicely with no squeaks or rattles as might be expected from a car of this age.
Very clean inside, outside and underneath with no welding required anywhere. It has been kept garaged by myself and the previous owner but sadly I haven't had the time to enjoy it so it's time for it to go to someone who will. Headlining is clean and not sagging and the manual sunroof operates correctly both flipped up and retracted.
Long MoT with no advisories and an overall very clean MoT history.
Recently had new rear shock absorbers, front control arm bushings, rear brake cylinders and new engine intake rubbers.
The body work is all around sound with just some minor age related dings, scratches and blemishes. The front and rear wings are solid along with the infamous front factory chassis lift points.
The interior is equally good, with only one strand of the pattern coming away on the rear seat and a small crack in the corner of the tray on the dashboard. During my ownership, I have always kept the dashboard covered up when parked outside and it has been protected with 303 Aerospace protectant to prevent any further damage.
