Description

for Sale 1928 Flatnose Morris Oxford, 15. 9, 2 seater & dicky.
This car had been stored for 40 years in a container & was suffering from micro blistering to paint throughout, main body still needs paint totally removing. the rest is done. all the usually rusted bolts have been replaced saving days of work.
As pictured looseley assembled for sale purposes, am selling due to ill health & too many projects, Body Timbers are sound & solid, rear under dicky seat framework has been replaced in Ash.
All 4 wings have been media blasted & weld repairs were neccessary.
Bonnett media blasted & epoxy primered.
Valances are new & powder coated black. Main Seat is good & usable as is.
lots of small parts powder coated, as is the Firewall & Dash assembly & valances. .
chassis main outers have been cleaned & Hammerited black. including tops , body was lifted.
has excellent as new tyres. Chassis is very origional & unmolested still wearing its spring Gators. The oil gauge works & indicates pressure but is oversize for hole being a bullie type, the clock is present but of no use but for pattern,
Engine was proffesionally checked over & a set of + 20 pistons (new) have been fitted, It was found to have one odd same size piston fitted, so bores where Honed & a complete new set installed. all white metalling was checked over & found to be excellent, a replacement oil pump was fitted at same time, & other parts from Bullie club spares.
It has been totally rewired in high capacity thin wall cables & every circuit is fused all tested & working. rear cables have been left unconnected until decision made re rear lights , a set of Rubbolites is included.
It still bears its origional No & i hold a current V5 in my name .
