1978 180 Jota. Slater verified with authentication letter as imported on 7th Sept 1978.
In my ownership I have spent a lot of money getting this bike up to top mechanical standards and I have receipts from GCS Motorcycles and Ray Petty Mechanica for over £12k.
Full engine rebuild with new pistons, chains, rebore, etc.
Wheels rebuilt and repainted with new Avon Roadriders.
Brake overhaul with new front discs.
Sasche Electronic ignition.
Lightened clutch.
Starter motor rebuild.
Rebuilt sprag clutch.
Carb overhaul and rebuild (running bellmouths currently).
Electrics overhaul, all wiring checked.
…and many, many other bits and pieces.
It now runs and rides beautifully without missing a beat. Starts easily and idles. Very quick!!!
A reluctant sale but I have a young family and one bike has to go. A beautiful, sorted Jota. Service history back to around 2010.
I can do a start up and walk around video if needed.
