A totally authentic 1981 R107 in iconic Signal Red with cream leather upholstery in excellent condition. Car has been maintained throughout ownership and has been professionally detailed and ceramic coated. Despite being exempt from MOT and Road Tax the vehicle has been MOT’d every year to maintain roadworthiness, safety and reliability. Originally purchased 7 years ago from a fastidious owner for 10 years who had undertaken restoration work and partial respray. Since purchased the car has always been stored in secure facilities but hardly driven and hence why selling. We have only done 300 miles in the car since purchased and feel this is a car that wants to be driven. Has always been on trickle charge and always started first time although we have just had to replace the battery along with the fuel sender. Fuel readings are still a little hit or miss so it may need a new fuel gauge. Car has Red classic Mercedes wheel hubs but we also have the original ones. Car has an aftermarket wooden steering wheel but we also have the original one for originality. We have receipts going back many years for works undertaken by ourselves and previous owner for inspection, as stated this is one of the most honest cars in the market with long standing service and repair records.
Car has original hard top which is in good condition but hasn’t been used with the car since our ownership. The softop was also replaced by the previous owner and is in immaculate condition.
