BSA A65 Lightning. 1971. Nice bike and in good running order. An American import in 2022, and UK registered in 2023. A lot of money spent on it to get it into the present condition. For example, New stainless wheel rims and spokes, new tyres and tubes. New piston rings, cylinder head rebuilt with new valves, guides and springs. New SRM oil pump. New rear shocks, new break shoes, all new cables and wiring. New speedo and reconditioned tacho. It is a good bike, and a nice usable machine, but I need the space. I wanted one of the oil in frame models, as they had the best of the A65 engines. The engine that came with the bike, is not the original, but is from the same year as the bike, and must have been changed in the states. The dates are confirmed by the VMCC.
