This a 1953 model 80” land rover, that has been brought up to a road worthy condition in the last 18 years. There are receipts for a new bulkhead, new one piece wings.
The original chassis, as had a new rear cross member and bulkhead out rigger, but is very sold and well presented. Painted in green as it should be.
The vehicle is on the road and comes with a long MOT.
PKK is the original Kent registration number, and the history of the car goes back to the 1970s with the continuation log book present.
Fitted with the slightly later spread bore engine, this car gets along great, fitted with a cab heater for a bit of creature comfort! Also, for the safety of the engine a temperature/ oil pressure gauge have been fitted.
In the very early 1970s the Land rover was owned by a John Marchant, there is also a tax disc from this time.
In the 1990s it was owned by a G Birditt, there are old MOTs from this time showing 39000miles
After that a Julian shoolheifer had be before selling it on to the current owner, who set about refreshing her. The folder comes with a load of receipts for parts inc a new bulkhead, a pair of new one piece wings. Stainless petrol tank, new wiring loom. And so much more.
All on all a great little usable 80”, ready for trip to the pub or some good old green laning!
