Description
Selling my very pretty MG TC which in purchased March 22 which has been maintain and dry stored and only used on sunny days
Stunning looks and also brings a smile and attracts admiring attention.
The History
According to the MG Car T register, this car was built on the 24th of March 1948 and then exported possibly to the USA. Still in California in 2000, it probably returned to Europe around 2003 and was the property of a MR Rinck of Luxembourg before being re-patriated by MG exponent Barry Walker in 2016.
It has at sometime during its recent life had a quality restoration as the photos will clearly show. Subsequently purchased by our vendor un-registered in 2016. He then set about obtaining UK registration which, with the help of the MG Car Club, was easily obtained.
The Paperwork
There is a V5c registration document in the owner’s name, a Californian registration document, various receipts for parts & works over the recent years & a dating letter from the MG Car Club T register.
The Interior
Fully restored and although we’re not sure by whom, it’s been carried out to a very high standard. Finished in red leather throughout including door cards, with contrasting black carpeting. All is in extremely good condition and wants for nothing.
The dash has a full complement of switches & dials the rev counter being a recent replacement item, although the original comes with the car and is restorable. Overall, an exceptionally tidy cockpit from which to enjoy the view ahead.
The Exterior
Stunning in cream paint & chrome and completed by a black mohair hood. An older restoration with one or two minor blemishes, just adds to this MGs charm. This MG really has been very well restored throughout and as they say, the camera never lies. No signs of rust, shiny chrome, excellent hood, which comes complete with unused side screens , it’ll gather admiring glances wherever she goes.

The wire wheels have too been restored and are embraced by decent rubber all round. Indicators have been retro fitted, utilising flashing side lights rather than added on and away from the vintage look.
The Mechanics
Engine gearbox and all running good order
