Description
one of the last coupe models made.
Interesting history, owned since 2019 and have tried to keep the car as original as possible. There is a large invoice file going back to 1999.
Electronic ignition, 5 speed Ford type 9 gearbox, concealed break servo, SS exhaust, One front and rear wing replaced and car resprayed by previous owner.
I have replaced carpets and door cards, seat foam, rear break shoes clutch and break hoses, master and slave cylinders, electric screen washers, new heater matrix, cleaned and treated underside throughout.
There is delamination to drivers side leading edge of windscreen but this has not changed since car was purchased and I have been happy to leave it as part of the cars originality. Drivers window winder is working but there are signs of wear in the winding gear. Paintwork looks great but there are some very small micro blisters on close inspection in one or two places. The car is 63 years old and I love the fact that it is still running and able to keep up with the traffic of today. It drives well, corners well and provides an authentic period experience. If you want a classic car that looks as if it has just come out of the showroom then this is not the one for you but if you want a classic MGA that has lived, looks great and continues to provide enjoyment then maybe it is the one for you?
